What’s new at TheShrimpFarm.com?

It has been quite a while since my last update. My day job (TV Cameraman) has kept me on the road for the last month covering spring training for the new Major League Baseball Network.

Bellow will be updates on the following shrimp (and crayfish).

  • Yellow Shrimp
  • Blue Pearl Shrimp
  • Amano Shrimp
  • Cherry Shrimp
  • Self-Cloning Crayfish

Yellow Shrimp
Our Yellow Shrimp breeding has slowed down a little bit. I suspect this is caused by the decrease in food supply while I have been away. The color of these shrimp are still striking!

Blue Pearl Shrimp
Again, the breeding seems to have slowed down a little bit. These aquariums have a large number of shrimp and require a fair amount of supplemental feeding for these shrimp to thrive!

Amano Shrimp
I came home to a few berried females, but I am unprepared to care for the larva so this batch of young will not see saltwater.

Cherry Shrimp
After a devastation of my Cherry Shrimp population a little over a year ago because of a tornado they are slowly starting to make a come back. My schedule looks like I will be home for a while so I am going to order a few more to gain a little bit of diversity and hope the population will spike!

Self-Cloning Crayfish
The second clutch of these crayfish are rapidly growing. I have a feeling these crayfish are going to quickly out grow their current aquarium and require multiple set ups.

I may have a few of these for sale in the near future if anybody is interested please contact me.
