Micro Crabs

TheShrimpFarm.com’s hatchery has added a new species today, while not a Dwarf Shrimp, it is a rather small freshwater aquatic invertebrate.

Micro Crab (Limnopilos naiyanetri)

We imported 12 of these tiny crabs. They are said to be 100% aquatic and breed similar to high order Dwarf Shrimp. They are currently in a dedicated aquarium and under close observation.
These crabs are very difficult to photograph as they are very small, ½ inch full grown, and most of the crabs that I have are less than full grown.

I will update often, and if I observe any breeding activity or a female carrying a clutch that information will be updated immediately.
If you are already keeping this amazing animal, please let me know your experiences.

I would like to purchase Micro Crab (Limnopilos naiyanetri. Please put me on a mailing list when you have them in stock. Should you have a vendor reference that sells them I would welcome the referral.
Thanks

I have just one in my tank, he was only the one at the store I buy my fish, he was shipped as part of their fish order and was a mistake (they did not order it and did not know much about it, so I bought it). Very easy to keep so far and he loves walking from leaf to leaf and eating algae. I have a heavily planted tank with community fish and African dwarf frogs and everyone gets along just fine. The crab is fun to watch and I am looking forward to adding more to my tank

Does anyone had any experience with this crab in the same tank as ghost shrimp?
