1. Boil for 10-15 minutes. Then let cool
2. Place into aquarium for shrimp to feed on.

Catappa bark differs from leaves as the bark will immediately sink to the bottom of the tank. It will gradually release nutrients for shrimp. The bark will soften if left soaking for over 5 days which can be a food source for the shrimp.
