Our starter pack includes everything you need to get started, whether you're a beginner saltwater or freshwater aquarist. This shrimp will grow to be about 0.75”-1.25" long, so keep that in mind when making your selection. They prefer cold water, but should tolerate a range of temperatures in most aquarium setups. The Crystal Red Shrimp is an excellent algae eater and scavenger of microorganisms, particularly plants and detritus on your substrate. Because they are pH-sensitive creatures, their environment should be kept within 6.6-6.9.

We keep our Crystal Red shrimp in GH of 3-4, KH of 0-1, with a PH of 6.6-6.9
