Premium Drip Acclimation Kit

Perfect for acclimating your freshwater aquarium shrimp to your aquarium. Drip acclimation is the only recomended way to adjust your shrimp to your aquarium. It is best as it allows your shrimp to slowly adjust to the parameters of your tank.

What is included?

Your acclimation kit will include the following:

• 6 feet of black airline tubing

• air control valve (controls the rate of drip acclimation)

• Tank Mounting Clip (with adjustment screw)

• 5 Gallon Buck Mounting Clip (with adjustment screw)

How to use a drip acclimation kit?

Using your drip acclimation kit is easy.

1. Using the two tank clips (they can be inter-changable), you will want to use the one which was two holes for the tubing and mount that onto the lip of your aquarium (Tank mount clip).

2. Next use the bucket mount clip and attach to your 5 gallon bucket (you can use any type of container).

3. fish the airline tubing through each clip leaving excess in the container. Also leaving some inside your aquarium below your water line by 4-5 inches.

4. Add the air control valve to the bucket/container side of the tubing. Open the valve all the way.

5. First blow into the tubing until you see air bubbles in your tank. Then slightly suck air in and quickly put the tubing into the container or bucket.

6. Once water starts coming out (should be right away) you can adjust the slow by closing or opening the air control value. We suggest 2-3 drips per second

The goal is to as slowly as possible add your tank water into the container to get about 3-5x the volume of water that your shrimp came in.
