Grading Freshwater Shrimp

There's a lot more to dwarf shrimp than meets the eye! Selective breeding for certain colors and patterns in Neocaridina (especially <a href="https://www.theshrimpfarm.com/posts/grading-red-cherry-shrimp/">red cherry shrimp</a>) and Caridina (especially <a href="https://www.theshrimpfarm.com/posts/grading-crystal-red-shrimp/">crystal red shrimp</a>) has led to some very desirable results, but how do you know whether your shrimp fall into that category or not? Grading freshwater shrimp is very easy using our handy charts. Compare colors, patterns and color density to figure out how "high-quality" your shrimp are. It'll help you figure out whether you got what you paid for, how much you can sell your shrimp for and how your breeding projects are coming along.
